Arike Ogunbowale

Arike ogunbowale (born April 2, 1985) is an American professional basket ball player. She plays for Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. Arike Ogunbowale played college basketball as a member of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish before being drafted to the Wings as a fifth overall pick for the 2019 WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale was conceived on the 2nd of March 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are her brothers. Since she was the eldest of her siblings, her parents treated her to the very best treatment. Her father Gregory was a soldier with the Nigerian Army for quite some period of time. Ogunbowale is from a vivacious family. She has a brother named Dare is a football player as is her mom Yolanda played softball at DePaul. She played for her aunt in volleyball at UAPB in the past, and Endia plays volleyball on the team at Tennessee State. Ogunbowale was listed on her high school's Honour Roll for three years consecutively. Apart from her fame, she's been awarded numerous awards during her studies. Arike was a graduate of Divine Savior Holy Angels High School in her hometown. While studying at the school, she also played three seasons of varsity football. Ogunbowale steered her school in a series of stunning wins with her incredible skills several times. In her high-school career, she has an impressive 73 career starts and 1 477 points total. She also lists 739 rebounds. Ogunbowale won gold medals at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championships and 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships and 2013 U18 FIBA 3x3 Championships. On July 7 2014 she was selected to the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was also named on the ACC All-Freshman Team following her first collegiate year. She was even congratulated by the Kobe Bryant after she hit several big shots at the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale is a relative newcomer to basketball, has already become a major star. She will surely keep on going in her career. Arike Ogunbowale's wealth amounts to about $5 million according to a reliable source. She's also a soccer player and has won three State Cup championships with Lake County United Soccer Club in addition to a State Cup title for FC Milwaukee Soccer Club.
